CHAPEL HILL - Friday night, we found out which teams will play next Saturday for a chance to win a state championship. Saturday, we found out when they'll be playing.
The N.C. High School Athletic Association released the times for the state finals, which will be played Saturday at N.C. State, North Carolina, Duke and Wake Forest. Five of our area high school teams, North Duplin, Tarboro, East Duplin, Wallace-Rose Hill and Havelock will be playing for a state title.
NewsChannel 12 and Sinclair Broadcasting will be showing the games on WCTI and Fox Eastern Carolina. A TV schedule of what channels will be carrying the games will be released ASAP.
