Marcelias Sutton rushed for 186 yards and two touchdowns, and Warsaw Kenan beat West Montgomery 42-14 on Saturday in the Class 1-AA North Carolina High School Athletic Association championship game.
   
Quarterback Dominique Barnes had two 1-yard scoring runs and JaQuan Williams added 174 yards rushing and a 67-yard touchdown to help Kenan (15-0) win its second state title since 2007.
   
Sutton scored on runs of 16 and 1 yard for run-based Kenan, which gained all 433 of its yards on the ground and missed on its only pass attempt.
   
Daniel Montoya's 21-yard touchdown run with 2:43 left in the half made it 15-14 and gave Kenan the lead for good.
   
Caleb Drake rushed for 142 yards, Suave Pegues scored a 3-yard touchdown and A.J. Collins returned a kickoff 88 yards for a score for West Montgomery (14-2).
