For days Andrej Meszaros has trotted on the ice for practice, cleared by team doctors for contact, but unable to feel like he can go in a game situation. After a hard-contact, 25-minute practice, the 27-year-old defenseman rolled his eyes when asked again. He still didn’t know if he could return from a dislocated left shoulder, which has caused him to miss the last 21 games since injuring it against the Rangers on Jan. 24. “Mmmm, I don’t’ know yet,” Meszaros said. “We’ll see. I have to talk to everybody.” Part of the frustration for the offensive-minded defenseman is that he once had a 298-game ironman streak and now seems injury-plagued. He missed 19 regular-season and 10 playoff games last year after back surgery. Before that, he dealt with a torn Achilles tendon, another upper-body injury in addition to a head injury that caused him to miss time. “It was a long time ago,” Mezaros said. “Obviously I’ve said many times I want to play every game.
