Rockets center Greg Smith was carried off the court after a collision with Wizards forward Trevor Ariza and did not return with a bruised right knee. The X-rays were negative, and Smith said he expects to play Wednesday against the Bucks. “Everything’s good,” Smith said. “Nothing’s wrong with it. It’s still a bone bruise. I should be back by Wednesday playing. I was worried. I’ve never been kneed like knee to knee before. It was a shock to me. It was a real pain at first. It’s a little pain still, but I can walk and bend it.” With the trade of Cole Aldrich to the Kings, Smith is the only center on the roster other than starter Omer Asik. In the first two games after the trade, Smith made nine of 10 shots, scoring 18 points and grabbing eight rebounds.
