Bryce Cotton scored 15 points while Vincent Council added 13 and seven assists.Fuquan Edwin led Seton Hall (14-16, 3-14) with 15 points, Eugene Teague and Aaron Cosby scored 13 each and Kyle Smyth pitched in 11. The Pirates trailed 43-36 at halftime and got no closer than five in the second half.Four Friars players scored on a 10-0 first half run as Providence ran out to a 27-17 lead with 8:41 left in the first half.
