Dennis Lindsey, who spent the past five years as the San Antonio Spurs' assistant general manager, was introduced as the Utah Jazz's new general manager on Thursday.

Lindsey replaces Kevin O'Connor, who will relinquish his day-to-day duties in basketball operations after being promoted to Utah's executive vice president for basketball operations.

O'Connor said Lindsey will be making his own decisions and that he won't be looking over Lindsey's shoulder.
