ACC's 60th Season Tips Off On Friday

ACC tips off 60th season Friday with nine non-conference tilts scheduled.

Four ACC teams- NC State, Duke, North Carolina and Florida State - ranked in both pre-season polls.

NC State senior forward Scott Wood leads all returning ACC players with 101 career starts.

Wood has started all but two of the 103 games in which he has played.

Miami’s Durand Scott is second with 93 career starts.

Wake Forest’s C.J. Harris is the ACC’s leading returning scorer (16.7) from a year ago.

Duke’s Mike Krzyzewski is the NCAA’s all-time winningest coach with 927 career victories in 37 seasons.

North Carolina’s Roy Williams has the best winning percentage (.800) of any active coach.

A year ago, Boston College’s Ryan Anderson became only the 11th freshman in ACC history to lead his team in both rebounding (7.4) and scoring (11.2).
