A Williamston man and convicted felon will go to federal prison for more than five years for possessing a gun and ammunition.
Albert Ray Purvis, 32, was previously convicted of discharging a weapon into occupied property. He was prohibited from possessing ammunition and firearms, due to that felony conviction.
