NEW BERN - Bonten Media Group?s WCTI (DMA 101) NewsChannel 12 announces today the addition of a 5:30 p.m. newscast featuring the anchor team of Brian North and Jaime McCutcheon. The newscast will debut Monday, Aug. 15.
With this newest addition, NewsChannel 12 and sister stations WFXI/WYDO FOX Eastern Carolina will now offer over 30 hours of local news per week.

This year we are thrilled to provide our viewers and advertisers with even more local news and content at 5:30 p.m."
The addition of the newscast stems from the growth the station has experienced with viewers.
