Warm weather continues
Highs were expected to nose up into the upper 80's inland and low 80's along the coast Thursday.
A high pressure system off the coast of the Carolinas has kept weather quiet. It is also allowing warm air to surge into the area.
Humidity is also streaming up with the heat. This will make it feel much hotter in the sun.
Showers are not expected till Monday and Tuesday, as the high pressure system that is building in the heat is also making it very difficult for any showers to spark.
Today will mark the third day of above average afternoon high temperatures.
Usually this time of year we clock in around 83° although warm-ups like this are very common in late May.
Expect this warm trend to hold strong till the middle of next week.
