A van carrying ten farm workers collided with a car in Jones County Friday night, sending everyone involved to a hospital, the Highway Patrol said.
It happened at around 7:40 p.m. west of Trenton, near where Highways 41 and 58 split. A Volvo, with one person inside, was leaving Nobles Lane, the investigating trooper said. That was when the van, carrying 10 tobacco field workers, crashed into the car.
The trooper did not believe anyone had life threatening injuries. But everyone involved was taken to a hospital. One of the tobacco field workers was airlifted to Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.
