Deputies: 3 arrested in Pamlico County meth bust

GRANTSBORO, PAMLICO COUNTY - The Pamlico County Sheriff's Office says three people have been arrested following a meth lab bust Saturday afternoon.

Randy Green, 49, Ralph Kinnion Jr., 22, and Erica Lloyd,22, are each facing charges of manufacturing methamphetamine and maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance, according to deputies. They're pictured above from left to right.

The sheriff's office says they received a call about possible illegal activity going on at a home on Moore Swamp Rd just off Highway 55 in Grantsboro. Once on scene around 1:30 Saturday afternoon deputies say there was a strong chemical odor in the air.

Officials say a camper next to a house is were they discovered the active meth lab and three people were inside. Deputies say they found a gallon bleach bottle giving off smoke during the investigation.

The sheriff's office says the SBI is also investigating, which is a standard protocol when dismantling a meth lab.

As of Saturday night, Lloyd, Kinnion, and Green were in the Pamlico County Detention Center, each under a $200,000 bond.
