Marvin Blango, a man wanted in connection with several breaking and entering cases in Craven and Pamlico counties was located and arrested in the Raleigh area. Law enforcement brought Blango into custody in Wake County on December 29th.
Three other suspects were arrested in the same incident in Raleigh. Diquan Bell, Clifford Horton and Demarcus Driggers are also in custody in Wake County. New Bern Police say they will have more information on the suspects' ties to crimes in eastern North Carolina at a press conference tomorrow.
Local police are searching for a suspect linked to multiple business break-ins and larcenies around eastern North Carolina.
Vanceboro Police Chief James Jenkins says Marvin Blago is wanted in connection to three breaking and entering cases. Blago is suspected of breaking into Highway 55 and Panichellis Pizzeria on Main Street in Vanceboro around 3:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 8. That same night, police say he and suspected accomplice Keith Conway also broke into Town Laundromat on Highway 43.
Blago is also being sought for his involvement in breaking into businesses in River Bend, according to Chief Ryland Matthews. A pub and a rental furniture repair facility were broken into on Wednesday, December 19. River Bend Police chased the suspects in thes two cases, but Blago was able to get away before being apprehended. Isiah Alston, 16, was later arrested in connection to the crimes.
Pamlico County deputies are looking for Blago in connection to breaking and entering and larceny cases in their area as well.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call police.
