LCpl. Caleb L. Erickson, 20, of Waseca, Minn., was killed by the suicide bomber Friday morning, his sister told ABC affiliate KSTP. The attack happened in Helmand province, Afghanistan.

The sister old KSTP that Erickson was in the gunner's turret on the last truck in a convoy. That was when the suicide bomber's vehicle crashed into the convoy. The blast knocked Erickson unconscious, and he later died at a medical facility.
