Jacksonville Police have charged a man in connection with a stabbing in Onslow County after he was arrested in Alabama.
Police said Joshua Segura was involved in a stabbing incident at the Liberty Inn in Jacksonville on September 15, 2013. He left the hotel on foot and stole a truck from a secured parking lot at S&N Automotive on Western Blvd., according to investigators.
According to investigators, Segura was arrested in Birmingham, Ala. for possession of the stolen motor vehicle. He was held by law enforcement authorities until he was transported to JPD Thursday afternoon.
He is being held at the Onslow County Jail under $137,000 secured bond.
