CRAVEN COUNTY - Craven County deputies have found a 16-year-old who was reported missing.
According to the Craven County Sheriff's Office, investigators located 16-year-old Phillip Cody Jones in the parking lot of the Food Lion in Bayboro in Pamlico County Tuesday.
A store clerk at a nearby WilcoHess recognized the teen from the news and contacted the Sheriff's Office.
Deputies first issued a release on Monday asking for the public's help in finding Jones.

Deputies said they are searching for 16-year-old Phillip Cody Jones, who was last seen at 409 Plantation Dr. in River Bend. The teen goes by the name Cody and may be in the company of girlfriend Ashley Poppell, investigators said.
Cody is described as 5-foot-8 and 140 pounds, with brown hair, green eyes, glasses and braces.
According to the Sheriff's Office, Cody was last seen wearing a black hat, gray Hurley shirt, tan shorts and no shoes. The photo above was taken one hour before he was reported missing.
Since then, the teen has been seen in both Craven and Carteret Counties, investigators said.
The Sheriff's Office warns that anyone helping Cody avoid law enforcement could be charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Those with information on the teen's whereabouts is asked to contact the Craven County Sheriff's Office at 252-636-6620.
