Police search for suspect in McDonald's hit-and-run

FARMVILLE, PITT COUNTY -

Farmville Police said they are looking for a driver who crashed into a car at a McDonald's drive-thru, then left the scene.

According to Det. Sgt. Joel Rypkema, the suspect's truck, described as a red or maroon pickup, possibly a Toyota Tacoma, crashed into the side of the other vehicle on May 14 at about 8:15 a.m.

The truck driver is described as a white male with medium length hair. He was with a white female, according to Det. Sgt. Rypkema. Anyone with information is asked to call the Farmville Police Department at 252-753-4111.
