GREENVILLE, PITT COUNTY -

Detectives with the Greenville Police Department are asking for the public's help identifying a car break-in suspect.

According to investigators, credit cards and $180.00 in cash were stolen from a vehicle at the Waterford Apartment Complex on Statonsburg Road on August 7.

The suspect was caught on camera using one of the stolen debit cards to pump gas at the Kangaroo station on South Memorial Drive, officials said.

The suspect's vehicle is an older model GMC Yukon. It is champagne/gold in color with chrome rims. The suspect appears to be a black male, fairly tall and stocky, with a close haircut, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Greenville Police Department. Reward money is available for information that leads to an arrest.
