GREENVILLE, PITT COUNTY -

Police said they are looking for two armed men who robbed a Greenville Waffle House while customers were inside.

The Greenville Police Department told NewsChannel 12 the robbery happened at about 11 p.m. Wednesday at the Waffle House at 715 Thomas Langston Rd.

According to investigators, two men with handguns entered the restaurant and demanded cash. Three employees and three customers were inside at the time.

The robbers escaped on foot with an unknown amount of cash, police said. No one was hurt.

The suspects are described as two black males in their late teens or early 20s, police said. They are both 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-10 and weigh between 150 to 170 pounds. Both suspects wore bandanas to cover their faces, according to investigators.

As with any ongoing case, detectives are looking into the possibility that this incident could be related to similar cases in the area, said police. They are working to obtain surveillance video.
