GREENVILLE, PITT COUNTY -

Police said they are searching for a man who robbed a Domino's delivery driver at gunpoint in Greenville.

Greenville Police said the armed robbery happened at about 11:30 p.m. Thursday.

According to investigators, the Domino's delivery driver went to a home on Sunset Avenue, but the man who answered the door said he did not order pizza. While walking back to the car, the pizza delivery driver was approached by a black male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and a bandana, said police.

That man had a handgun and demanded money, investigators said. The delivery driver gave the robber an undisclosed amount of cash. The robber then told the delivery driver to get into the car and leave, according to police.

No on was injured, police said. The suspect was last seen heading towards Glenwood.
