NEW BERN, CRAVEN COUNTY -

Police in New Bern are on the lookout for a white SUV after a man says he was robbed at gunpoint by four other men inside.

According to police, the victim was walking on Neuse Boulevard at the intersection of Queen Anne Lane towards McDonald's when a white SUV with four men inside stopped to talk to him. The men in the SUV offered the victim a ride to McDonald's, but when the victim got in the car, he was held up at gunpoint. The suspects demanded the victim's money.

The victim got out of the car after giving the suspects an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspects drove off down Neuse Boulevard in the other direction.

No one was hurt in the robbery. It's still under investigation.

The victim described the suspect as four black males, two of whom had long dreadlocks. Besides that information, no other description was available.

Police are asking anyone who knows anything about the robbery to call the police department.
