Police: Duo steals more than $5,000 in items from Best Buy

GREENVILLE, PITT COUNTY - Police said they are asking the public to help identify two women, who stole more than $5,000 worth of electronics from a Greenville Best Buy store.

According to investigators, the two suspects entered the Best Buy, located on S. Evans Street, on Saturday, Feb. 16, and stole four Sony desktop computers and three Hewlett-Packard laptops. The total value of the stolen items was worth about $5,500, officers said.

The women made at least two trips in and out of the store, police said.

Anyone who can identify the suspects in the surveillance photo can call the Greenville Police Department at 252-329-4315, or Pitt-Greenville CrimeStoppers at 252-758-7777. A reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest.
