NEW BERN, CRAVEN COUNTY -

A pizza delivery driver was robbed Saturday night in New Bern, police said.

Officers were called to the corner of McKinley Avenue and Graves Street just before 9 p.m.

The driver told investigators that a black man in his 30s, wearing a mask, had a weapon and demanded cash.

The driver was not sure what type of weapon the robber had, police said.

The robber escaped with a small amount of cash.

The name of the pizza shop that employs the driver was not available.

No one was hurt.
