Pitt County hosts free flu clinic Thursday

GREENVILLE - The Pitt County Health Department will host a flu shot clinic for the general public on Thursday, February 7 and Friday, February 8, according to a news release. 

The clinic will be held from 8:15 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. or until supplies last.

No appointment is needed and there is no charge for the shot.  The Health Department is located in the Pitt County Office Park, just off of Old Creek Road at 201 Government Circle, Greenville.

Flu vaccination is recommended for any one 6 months of age or older, according to health officials in Pitt County.
