GREENVILLE, PITT COUNTY -

Pitt County authorities have arrested three men from New York accused of trafficking cocaine. In addition detectives seized almost $30,000 in cash.

The Pitt County Sheriff's Office said deputies arrested the three suspects at the  parking lot of the Walmart on Greenville Boulevard Thursday. The suspects are identified by investigators as 36-year-old Daujuan Jerome Strickland, 43-year-old Charles Lamont Williamson, and 53-year-old Craig Edward Rhines, all from Buffalo, New York.

The Sheriff's Office said detectives also seized $27,290 in cash when they arrested the suspects.

All there men have been charged with conspiring in trafficking cocaine and are being held in the Pitt County Detention Center under the following bonds:

1) Daujuan Jerome Strickland: $1,000,000 secured.
2)  Charles Lamont Williamson: $1,000,000 secured.
3) Craig Edward Rhines: $1,010,000 secured.

Rhines also had outstanding warrants for failure to appear in court for previous traffic violations and possession of stolen goods charges, investigators said.

The arrests are the result of a three-week investigation prompted by the Greenville Regional Drug Task Force.
