New grant to bring new jobs to Greenville

GREENVILLE, PITT COUNTY - Greenville has announced a large economic development grant that will bring full-time job opportunities and new business to the area.

According to a release issued from the City of Greenville, this $210,000 grant will help Purilum, LLC reuse an 18,000-square-foot building on Woodbridge Park Road by creating a food-grade lab.

Purilum, LLC will move to Greenville with the goal of becoming one of the first companies in the e-liquids filling and e-cigarette manufacturing industry to meet proposed FDA regulatory standards, the release stated.

Purilum, LLC plans to offer flavorings for other products, including food and beverages in the future, according to the City of Greenville. Thanks to the grant, the company will create 21 new full-time jobs.
