The North Carolina Coastal Resources Commission (CRC) will hold a public meeting today and Thursday to discuss a study on sea levels.

The meeting is open to the public and will take place at the NOAA/NCNERR Auditorium at 101 Pivers Island Road in Beaufort. It will start at 3 p.m. today and 9 a.m. tomorrow.

The CRC's main priorities include covering an update to a sea level rise study, discussing the management of ocean inlets, and planning out future land use.

Members of the public may comment on CRC issues at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday.

The Coastal Resources Commission establishes policies for the North Carolina Coastal Management program and adopts coastal development rules and policies regarding the environment.
