(CNN) -- The rescue effort for Jeff Bush is being discontinued, according to Mike Merrill, county administrator for Hillsborough County, Florida. Merrill said the operation is moving to a demolition phase. Bush was swallowed up by a sinkhole that opened beneath his room Thursday in his Florida home.
