Governor announces new manufacturing jobs in ENC

WASHINGTON, BEAUFORT COUNTY -

Gov. Pat McCrory said Wednesday 159 new jobs will be coming to Beaufort County within the next three years.

Gov. McCrory and North Carolina Commerce Secretary Sharon Decker announced IDX Impressions will be expanding its manufacturing operations in Washington; $3 million is being invested into the expansion.

IDX Impressions builds store fixtures for companies across the world.

Salaries will vary by job function, according to a news release. But the average annual payroll for the new jobs will be more than $4.8 million, plus benefits.

The company currently employs 83 people in North Carolina.
