GREENVILLE, PITT COUNTY - Police have arrested two more suspects in a shooting that injured a man outside a Greenville hotel.
On Thursday afternoon, officers arrested Jermaine Spruill (above) and Dymel Dquan Clark (picture unavailable). Both suspects have been charged with attempted first-degree murder and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury.
Greenville Police said the shooting happened outside the Economy Inn at 1901 Stantonsburg Road at about 2 a.m. on Jan. 5. When officers arrived, they found the victim, Demarus Onte Williams, in the parking lot with several gunshot wounds.
The victim was taken to Vidant Medical Center. Police said his injuries did not appear to be life-threatening.
Investigators said they were told that there was an altercation outside the entrance of the hotel before the shooting.
Spruill and Clark are being held under a $1 million bond and a $500,000 bond respectively.
A third suspect, Jordan Allen Stokes, was charged earlier in January with two counts of felony conspiracy, said police. He was being jailed under a $2 million bond.

According to investigators, there was a fight outside the entrance of the hotel. But when officers arrived, everyone was gone except for a man who had multiple gunshot wounds. He was found at the hotel's front door, police said.
The unidentified victim was taken to Vidant Medical Center. Police said his injuries did not appear to be life-threatening.
