Military empowerment conference attracting local Marines

JACKSONVILLE, ONSLOW COUNTY - A military empowerment group is attracting local veterans to a conference designed to help them take control of their careers.

Camp Lejeune Marine Matt Pagan is transitioning out of the military for the next month.
He uses to explore career paths and find a sense of direction in the professional world.

Pagan is traveling to Raleigh this weekend for the first annual RallyPoint conference.
He says anyone with military relations should benefit, and encourages other military to go.

"It's for people that are active duty it's for people like myself that are transitioning out and it's for people that are out already and it's also for the family."

The RallyPoint conference will be all day Saturday at the Raleigh Convention Center.
