McCrory to be sworn-in on Saturday, will then visit Eastern Carolina

NEW BERN - Pat McCrory will officially be sworn in as North Carolina's new governor on over the weekend, and he will stop by Eastern Carolina a few days later for his inauguration celebration.

McCrory will be sworn-in during a private ceremony in the Old State Capitol, on the second floor in the old senate chambers Saturday at noon.

On Tuesday, Jan. 8, McCrory will be at the Tryon Palace in New Bern for his inauguration celebration. NewsChannel 12's Wes Goforth and Valentina Wilson have been given exclusive access to the event.
