Police identify teen found shot to death in wreck
Investigators have released the identity of a teenager found shot to death in a wrecked car in Raleigh.
Authorities say 18-year-old Travion Ragland was left in the overturned car early Sunday morning while several other people ran away. The wreck happened just minutes after someone called 911 to report shots fired less than two miles away.
Police think the two incidents are related, but continue to investigate. They also are trying to identify the people who ran from the car.
A woman who called 911 about the wreck said she and her neighbors were scared to check on the car after several men ran away into the woods.
