Man accused of forging mother's prescription for Oxycodone

GREENVILLE, PITT COUNTY - A man is arrested and accused of forging a prescription for Oxycodone.

The Pitt County Sheriff's Office says 31-year-old Charles Ashley Caulk of Greenville had picked up a prescription for his mother and changed the dates on the prescription so that it could be filled early.

The prescription was for 180 dosage units of Oxycodone. The Sheriff's Office says the pharmacy reported the forgery in March.

Caulk was charged on Wednesday with Obtaining a Controlled Substance by Fraud or Forgery.
