GOLDSBORO, Wayne County - A rash of burglaries has the Wayne County Sheriff's Office asking for the public's help.
The first degree burglaries and attempted burglaries and breaking and enterings took place early Monday in the area of Spring Bank Road in Goldsboro. The first call came in at 2 a.m. to a report that a man had broken into the victim's house while they were inside. Other similar break-ins were reported through 6:30 a.m.
The suspect has been described as a white male, 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-11, 150-160 pounds with slender build and no visible tattoos on face or neck area. He was wearing a white T-shirt and was seen by the last victim wearing a pink beach towel around his head.
