Six more inmates arrested for having drugs on prison premises

COLUMBIA, Tyrrell County - The Tyrrell County Sheriff's Office has arrested six more people who had controlled substances on prison premises.

There have been 24 who have been arrested at the Tyrrell Prison Work Farm on drug charges since May. Below are the individuals arrested and their charges.

-- James Edward Smith Jr. charged with controlled substance (Suboxine) in prison/jail premises, arrested Sept. 9
-- Jason McLamb charged with controlled substance (Suboxine) in prison/jail premises, arrested Sept. 9
-- Randolph Roberson charged with controlled substance (Suboxine) in prison/jail premises and possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver, arrested Sept. 9
-- Sean M. Thomas charged with controlled substance (Suboxine) in prison/jail premises, arrested Sept. 9
-- Robin Lee Johnson and Urick B. Watson charged with charged with controlled substance (Suboxine) in prison/jail premises, arrested Oct. 3
