JACKSONVILLE, Onslow County - Commuters in Jacksonville should expect some delays after two road repair projects were announced for this week.
A portion of Mildred Avenue was expected to close Monday, July 10, 2017, according to officials with the City of Jacksonville.
The closures will allow construction crews to repair a broken sewer service in the area. The repair work should be complete by the end of the day. Traffic will be detoured around the work zone.
On Tuesday, July 11, 2017 a portion of Brenda Drive will be closed. Construction crews will be repairing a broken sewer main. Traffic will be detoured around the construction zone via Audubon Drive.
This construction work will be completed by the end of Tuesday.
Both of these construction projects are part of the City of Jacksonville's regularly scheduled sewer inflow and infiltration repair work.
