GREENVILLE, Pitt County - River Park North is hosting a Moonlight Hayride and Campfire on Thursday, September 28, open to people of all ages.
Their will be two rides on September 28. The first starts at 6:30 p.m. and will last for one hour. The second starts at 7:30 p.m. Both will be taking place at River Park North, 1000 Mumford Road in Greenville.
Visitors can expect to enjoy a 45-minute moonlit hayride around the park's 31-acre pond. S'mores around a campfire will be served upon your return.
"You get to enjoy your friends and other company -- people you may meet along the way on the hayride," Brad Williams, the park's program assistant, said. "You get to interact with them, kids and adults alike. It's kind of a good kids and and adults program that both age groups will enjoy."
The general admission fee is $6 per person, but Greenville residents will be able to get their tickets at a discount -- $4. Children 2-and-under are free if they are sitting on an adult's lap.
Williams said that they've sold out tickets for tonight's ride, but you can catch the next rides on November 2. They will take place at 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. at the same location.
