Onslow County man convicted of murdering fiancée

JACKSONVILLE, Onslow County - An Onslow County man was found guilty Thursday of murdering his fiancée.

According to the Onslow County District Attorney's Office, a jury found Timothy Allen Noble guilty of killing Debra Coleman Holden. She was found dead on Oct. 31, 2014 at her home on Dawson Cabin Road in Jacksonville. Her death was originally ruled a suicide then later ruled a homicide by the Onslow County Medical Examiner's Office.

Officials arrested Noble after he was originally believed to be a suspect due to evidence uncovered at the scene of the crime.

Noble was sentenced to life in prison without parole.
