Jones County Sheriff Danny Heath said JCSO deputies and investigators from the State Bureau of Investigation are on scene along the 300 block of Oliver Street. Heath said the situation is being described as a death investigation after first being said to be a homicide.
Heath said one victim was pronounced dead at the scene while another was airlifted to Vidant Medical Center in Greenville in critical condition.
