Third person arrested in robbery of pizza delivery driver

NEW BERN, Craven County - A third person was arrested and charged in a the robbery of a pizza delivery man on Saturday.

New Bern Police said Nathan Aaron Sheptock, 16, was arrested and charged with three counts of robbery with a firearm in relation to the robbery of a pizza driver, which occurred on Red Robin Lane. Sheptock was also charged with committing two other robberies on May 10 and June 30.

He is currently being held under a $200,000 secured bond.

Earlier Tuesday, two men suspected of carrying out an armed robbery of a pizza delivery driver in New Bern were arrested.

New Bern Police announced Isiah Gibbs, 19, and his 18-year-old brother Hakeem Gibbs were under arrest and placed into the Craven County Jail on $250,000 and $150,000 secured bonds, respectively.

They are both charged with the three robberies. Isiah Gibbs is charged with three counts each of robbery with a firearm and conspiracy to commit robbery with a firearm. Hakim Gibbs is charged with two counts each of robbery with a firearm and conspiracy to commit robbery with a firearm. Both brothers made their first court appearance in Craven County Superior Court on Tuesday.

Two of the three robberies, including the one on Saturday, occurred on Red Robin Lane.
