Jacksonville Police search for suspect in Bojangles' armed robbery
Police said they need the public's help to find a gunman who robbed a Bojangles' restaurant in Jacksonville.
Armed with a handgun, the robber entered the Bojangles' at 1693 Halltown Road at about 9:15 p.m. Wednesday, according to Jacksonville Police. The suspect then allegedly demanded cash from the clerk and escaped with an unknown amount of cash. No one was injured, investigators said.
The suspect is described as a white male in his late teens to early 20's. According to police, the suspect is about 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-8 and between 160 and 170 pounds. He was wearing full-length blue jeans and a red t-shirt, possibly with a logo. The robber used a piece of black clothing hide his face, police said.
The suspect's vehicle is described as a black Honda Civic-style vehicle, possibly a hatchback.
