Highway patrol cars vandalized

OCRACOKE, HYDE COUNTY - Investigators search for whoever threw a cinder block through a highway patrol car window on the island of Ocracoke.

According to Ocracoke Current, two patrol cars were vandalized early Saturday morning at the Pony Island Motel on Ocracoke Island.

One car had a cinder block thrown through the window and another was painted with a yellow-green paint.
