Wyatt Cenac will soon make his exit from "The Daily Show," according to New York Magazine's Vulture.
Cenac has served as a writer and correspondent on the Emmy-winning Comedy Central series since 2008, and has also appeared in other projects along the way, such as the films "Sleepwalk With Me" (2012) and "Medicine for Melancholy" (2008).
In a statement to the Hollywood Reporter, a Comedy Central rep says that "The Daily Show's" Jon Stewart and the rest of the staff "wish him the best in his future endeavors."
Cenac's last appearance on "The Daily Show" will be Dec. 13.
