Hollywood's baby boy boom continues as Reese Witherspoon and her husband Jim Toth welcome their newest family member.
The actress, 36, gave birth to a son on Thursday, a rep for Witherspoon tells CNN.
"Both mom and baby are healthy, and the entire family is thrilled," the rep said.
Witherspoon and Toth named their son Tennessee James. Tennessee joins older siblings Ava, 13, and Deacon, 8, whom Witherspoon had with her ex-husband, Ryan Phillippe.
Toth, a Hollywood agent, and Witherspoon met "out of the blue" when Toth's drunken friend, who was going through a breakup, tried to make a pass at Witherspoon, the actress recalled in Elle magazine earlier this year.
The couple married in March 2011, and the actress later said how happy she was to have found a man like her new husband.
"You know, somebody close to me once said, 'Oh, no man will ever accept your children.' And I just thought it was the most horrifying thing someone has ever said to me in my entire life," she said. "I was determined to find somebody who would make that not true. And I got lucky. I did. I got very lucky, and he's wonderful. And so wonderful with the children. I'm very blessed."
