GREENVILLE - Greenville police said that an East Carolina University skateboarder was hit by a car early Tuesday morning.
Sergeant Joe Friday with Greenville Police said the pedestrian was crossing the street at Charles Boulevard and 10th Street when he was hit by the vehicle. He did not have the right-of-way when he was hit.
The ECU student was transported to Vidant Medical Center, where it was discovered he suffered a broken leg from the accident. Police said the driver was not at fault and will not face any charges.
