GRIMESLAND -

A man was seriously injured when he was ejected from his car in a crash Thursday evening.

The highway patrol says the crash happened along Blackjack-Grimesland Road at about 6:45 p.m.

It says the driver went off the right side of the road, over corrected his Honda Civic, went left of center, then off the right side again, hitting a hitch and several trees.

Investigators say he was not wearing a seat belt.
