EASTERN CAROLINA -

As of Saturday morning, the Coast Guard continues to search for a 65-year-old diver who went missing off the Crystal Coast Friday.

Friday, Coast Guard officials said they sent Coast Guard Cutter Kodiak Island to the scene. In addition, five local divers and emergency medical personnel aboard a 47-foot boat were on their way to search for the missing diver.

A MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew from Elizabeth City was also launched during Friday's search, the Coast Guard said.
