NewsChannel 12 and FOX Eastern Carolina are proud sponsors of the MCAS Cherry Point 2014 Air Show, taking place from Friday, May 16 to Sunday, May 18.

Both attendance and parking are free, so come enjoy the aerial performances and meet on-air talent from NewsChannel 12 and FOX Eastern Carolina.

FRIDAY, MAY 16:

Anchor Brian North will report live from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

SATURDAY, MAY 17:

Anchor Leland Pinder will report live for the morning show.

10 a.m. to 1 p.m.-- Meteorologist Jonathan Weant and reporter Kyle Horan.

12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.-- Chief Meteorologist Skip Waters and anchor Wes Goforth.

SUNDAY, MAY 18:

10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.-- Meteorologist Ellen Bacca and anchor Leland Pinder.

12 p.m. to 3 p.m.-- Anchors Brian North and Jaime McCutcheon.

2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.-- Reporter Amber Roberts.

The biennial air show usually attracts about 250,000 people over the three days it runs, said Stephanie Duncan, the director of the Havelock Chamber of Commerce. After the 2014 air show, the next event is scheduled for spring of 2016.
