GREENVILLE, PITT COUNTY -

A vehicle crashed into the Greenville Mall Friday morning, causing a large hole through a wall, police said.

According to investigators, the vehicle crashed near Carolina Ale House. Police got the call at 7:25 a.m. Only one vehicle was involved, police said. The female driver was not taken to a hospital.

No other injuries were reported. Investigators did not release how the crash happened.

A mall supervisor said its difficult to estimate the cost to repair the damage. The mall remains open for shoppers.
